Background

Jason Svarc started operating as Transfer Solar in 2011 after designing and building an off-grid solar home in Kinglake, Victoria. Having an mechanical/electrical engineering background provided a good foundation of electrical knowledge to hone his skills towards the emerging solar and battery technology.

Jason gained a qualification in renewable energy from Swinburne University and went on to teach the solar Stand-Alone Power Systems (off-grid) short course for two years before focusing on contracting and designing solar / energy storage solutions for various electrical companies and solar businesses.

Clean Energy Council accredited solar designer and installer.

Jason Svarc - Solar and Energy Storage Specialist

Specialising in designing, commissioning and managing complex solar battery storage/off-grid power systems for various applications. Experienced in energy auditing, energy efficiency and customising solar hybrid systems for both single and 3-phase installations.

Previous experience includes teaching the Clean Energy Council (CEC) off-grid system design course at Swinburne University. With an engineering background and 9 years experience in renewable energy system design and installation he has extensive knowledge and technical expertise. 

Jason is also the lead technical writer at clean energy reviews. One of the very few independent online solar review sites publishing detailed articles and reviews of the many solar products and battery systems available on the market.
